    Poor Landing Page Experience on Google Ads Problem

    Posted by seohelper on June 30, 2020 at 2:41 pm

    Hi! I am running google search ads and I can’t figure out why my landing page experience is low. My quality scores are all 5/10 or lower, and my landing page experience is below average for all keywords. This is the landing page: [https://get.arpio.io/disaster_recovery/](https://get.arpio.io/disaster_recovery/). I ran the mobile friendly test with positive results ([https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?id=jLTcbap__9Sjw2RgVpUxnQ](https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?id=jLTcbap__9Sjw2RgVpUxnQ)). And the PageSpeed Insights page gives it a 98/100 for desktop and 88/100 for mobile. Our page is really simple and loads pretty quickly, so I can’t figure out what is wrong with the landing page experience. Any ideas on what I need to change?

    Probably not enough content and the keywords that you are using don’t show in your landing page so it may be seen as not being relevant. It’s not always about speed, content is king.

    What is the main keyword you’re focusing on?

    How long have you been running ads using this landing page? Google may just need time to reevaluate your LPE, try broadening your targeting and using broad match and modified broad match keywords to allow you to get more impressions. If you’ve been working on improving your Quality Score you need more impressions in order to raise it.

    I think you are misled by the term “Landin Page Experience”. What they focus most on is the relevancy of the landing page to the keyword and ad.

    I’m not a big fan of quality score – have done LOTS of testing around it and i honestly think its a google driven bshitty vanity measure

    Things to consider with Landing Page Experience:

    * Keyword-Content relevancy (page title, H1/H2 lines, page content)
    * Page speed load times
    * Bounce rate
    * Page engagement
    * Time on site
    * Mobile-site experience

    Give that Pagespeed insights is giving you positive ratings, Google feels that you have either poor page engagement, bounce rate, content relevancy.

    I have the exact same issue, page speed over 90 , solid conversion rates 5-10% , content is highly matched to keywords bounce rate under 50% – nothing misleading on the page… yet google ranks the experience as below average no matter what happens

    It’s creating with hubspot landing pages so I thought maybe something was off with crawling but it indexes okay on search console – it’s destroying my campaigns and my soul!
