PMAX without assets
Google Ads does not let me add a new asset without anything in it. I have to add descriptions in order to create it. How can I have a pmax without assets then?

I think it doesn’t work anymore.

When setting up you have to create a pmax campaign with all assets. When you’ve done this add another asset group, don’t fill in any details just hit save and pause the initial asset group that you had to setup.

Do not put a final url or it will make you add assets. That’s at least the case a few months ago when I made mine.

Just realized the same today. However, I’ve never been a huge fan of product-only PMAX campaigns anyway. The whole purpose of PMAX is maximum visibility and scaling potential by leveraging all networks. Dedicated Shopping campaigns with the benefits that come with it (easier management, more bidding strategies, negative keywords) outweighs the disadvantage of a slightly lower reach, in my opinion.
