That’s not the correct use of this word though.
Plagiarism is taking somebody else’s work and pretending that it’s yours, which would be the case here.
If you change the title of this post to “copying my website while having both versions online” it might get you more relevant answers.

It could. Usually when presented with two versions of the same content, Google will rank the version that is most authoritative for the given search query.
If the site you are taking the content from does not belong to you, I’d be much more worried about the legal consequences.

Maybe. It’s more likely to hurt you, though. Plagiarism isn’t high-quality and unique content.
