People are able to discover TikTok accounts that aren’t even linked?
Currently my TikTok account is set to private with no other social media platforms ever having been linked to it, the only personal information of mine TikTok has is my phone number required for registration.
Yet I just got a follow request from someone who is a Facebook friend and follows me on Instagram… what the hell?Edit:also I do not have my contacts linked, furthermore I have never once linked anything to my account

Yes. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t linked yours if your friends have linked theirs. Before Apple rolled out their new update with the contacts, any developer can extract all contacts info including names, pictures, and numbers into their database. Now they can track how many of their friends/contacts are within in the application.
