  • Not getting Reel views on my new Instagram account

Posted by Alesandrog on April 29, 2023 at 10:07 am

I started a new Instagram account recently, and while I’m getting followers (real ones) and some story interactions, I’m not getting any views on my Reels. I’ve tried remixing viral reels, but it doesn’t seem to help. Is this low organic reach normal for new accounts? What can I do to grow my account with such limited reach?

I guess it’s quite normal for new accounts. Keeping experimenting by adding more relevant hashtags, using viral sounds, and creating better thumbnails/captions might help.

Try to be as authentic as possible. Creating unique content and being consequent will get more engagement then reusing viral sounds. It’s nice to get a lot of views with a viral sound, but does it support your marketing goal of reaching your target audience?

It’s typical for new Instagram accounts to experience slow growth and limited organic reach initially. Gaining views and growing your account organically can take time. Here are some steps to help you grow your Instagram account organically:

Make your account visually appealing. Adopt a theme or tone for your feed, choose an easily searchable username and name, and write an informative bio.

Engage with people and follow small accounts in your niche. Finding people in your niche is crucial, as they’re more likely to watch your content and follow you. If you’re struggling to find them, consider hiring a marketing agency like ascend viral, which specializes in helping users grow their accounts organically.

Post at least once daily, and make your posts interactive. Stay active, respond to DMs, and build relationships with others. Share stories, conduct polls, and host Q&A sessions.
