  Newbie trying Seo and need help with his own homepage

  Good evening friends,

  I’m a bloody beginner when it comes to seo. However, I would like to optimize my homepage as much as possible myself.

  if you want an link to my page plz write me an pm.

  Now to my question:

  The topic is so extensive that I feel a little overwhelmed. Could you guys help me on what to start with? What makes the most sense is that I can celebrate a few successes so as not to lose interest.

  \-I’m currently working on the pictures (size and title of the picture)

  \-Next I would have thought of tackling the meta story.

  Is that okay or do I have much larger construction sites that should be done first?

  Hi here are a few quick tips:

  Check what 2 off your competitors are doing and what they have done.

  It is must more than just the homepage, it is site wide and all your blog articles add to site wide ranking factors. Topical authority.

  Here is few main tips for homepage.

  Meta Title and Description
  H1, H2, H3 headers
  Content that gives quick and straightforward information on your website / products / services.

  If local, localize your content.

  Images alt text
  Internal linking

  Use main keyword, dont keyword stuff.
