New Client using Squarespace – Should I have them switch to WP?

Posted by seohelper on November 11, 2020 at 10:34 pm

Ok so I have a client using a squarespace site that is not that good looking. I am thinking of having them switched to a WordPress template and having a company I worked with in the past design it. I also hear often about instapage and unbounce for single page lead gen. What do you normally do for your clients with bad sites?

If it’s just a landing page unbounce is a really good option.

If it’s the whole site I recommend webflow. It’s a tad more complex than WordPress, and you don’t have the option to use some plugins, but they also have a cms, tons of themes, and it’s faaar faster, which in general helps for ad performance.

If you’re concerned about SEO or may be down the road go WordPress. With Elementor it’s as easy to use as Squarespace.

In general, I echo the responses above, especially re: just use Unbounce if it’s only a landing page. But I can’t stand using closed-source CMS if I need to do really robust event tracking.
