if you mean about the June update, the best advice for you is,

*stick into the old school SEO and make sure you are doing it right

*consider the core web vitals since these updates are more focused on core web vitals. (the update will follow up with its second part in July first or second week, and another update will take place before august)

*as hinted by Google, your site will not get de-ranked with these updates if you are doing good in old-school SEO. but still, core web vitals are getting more and more important. check the new page experience tab in the search console to find suggestions by google. hope this will help. Godspeed

If your website is affected by the “Google Update”, or any other reason leading to decrease in your ranking, then follow these steps:

    1. Increase the Intensity of Backlinks
    2. Create Backlinks to quality websites (and not old or spam ones)
    3. Write quality and unique content both On-Page & Off-Page
    4. Give preference to those Keywords whose rank fell drastically

If you have affect to google page experience then update your website in mobile and desktop speed and improve it. If Google has another update “spam update” that update affect spam work. If you have do any unethical work then affect that update so you can do proper etical way and white hat SEO.

There are the following tips for improve ranking

You’re doing seo for 10 sites, 1/10 went lower, and you’re are assuming it wasn’t a result of your work? Some basic statistics knowledge would show you it’s probably not the algo update. Especially since that last one barely changed anything.
