My posts get zero reach. Is there a current industry best book or short tutorial that covers the basics?
Hi all. I’m looking to improve my posts and my reach.
I read often about moving away from being a consumer and instead be a creator of content.
No matter how many social media accounts I create, profile pictures I choose, what questions I ask, or hashtags I use, I get zero reach or near-zero reach.
I figure going from 0 followers to 1, 1 follower to 5, and 5 followers to 10 is probably more difficult than going from 100 to 200, but I just can’t seem to do it.

you have at least 3 options:
pay someone else to do it
be consistent (making new profiles doesn’t help)
check your target audience and be sure that your product/service is for them

My SO was going a vegan food thing on IG for a while. She was on her phone a lot, liking/following vegans and then posting her own pics of vegan food. She then began doing one post/day.
She didn’t go viral but she had established authenticity and had followers. She engaged with them too.
She stopped because it wasn’t fun for her anymore but keep at it and be authentic to start. People are generally getting better at sniffing out fakeness.
