  My instagram was hacked but the code for the video recognition isnt working

  My insta account was hacked two days ago and two people told me to do the face video verification thing becasue it worked for them. one of these people literally had the same hacker.

  So i did the video thing 3 times and it said not confirmed. now i was just going to keep doing it bc one of the people told me it took her 17 tries before it worked. but when i had to put in a code sent to my email to be able to do the video thing, it said i had to wait a moment for some reason.

  so i did. i waited and then i continued putting the code in. but then it gave me a different message saying i had to wait because i put in the code incorrectly too many times.

  I SWEAR i put in the right code, it was literally the code from the newest email they sent. so i kept requesting a new code and putting it in correctly, but it still said it was the incorrect code.

  so i was like ¨ok ill wait¨ so i waited a day and then i did the code thing again, but it still said i had to wait because i put in the code incorrectly too many times.

  and im confused bc the two girls who told me to do this had no issues like this.

  WHAT DO I DO NOW i dont get why the code isnt working. also, any alternatives as to how to get back into my account?

  also, does the video thing work if you dont have any pics of your face on your instagram? im tagged in stuff with my face but thats it.
