Hello everyone, I launched an ad yesterday on Instagram, (my first ever ad) which is supposed to run for 2days. ended up receiving an email from Facebook saying that they noticed some unusual activity on my account which got my account to get disabled.

    Here’s the exact message I received : [https://imgur.com/1A2No8w](https://imgur.com/1A2No8w)

” We noticed some unusual activity on your account, so it has been disabled to protect your personal and financial info. For your security, please confirm your account to let us know it’s you. This is a standard process and should only take a few minutes. Once you confirm your account, your access will be restored. Thanks, The Facebook Team”

And when I click “comfirm account” it takes me here [https://imgur.com/921OmS7](https://imgur.com/921OmS7)

And right after i click “start authorization” it gives me an error message.

Not sure why my ad account got disabled. the post i promoted doesn’t violate any of their policies. it was just a simple picture of mine with no captions. and not sure what’s the next step for me to do either, all i did was filling a report to facebook which takes 2-3days to get a response from them.

I’ve one more question regarding that, i paid 50$ for the ad to run for 2days. but the ad spent only 10$ out of my 50$ till now. since the ad isn’t working, and it’s about to end, i’m gonna be robbed for the extra 40$ instagram didn’t use to promote my post or i’ll just be charged with 10$ at the end of it and keep the 40$ they didn’t use?

Thanks in advance. and i apologize for my crappy english.

If Facebook disabled your ad account then your ads were paused, you won’t be billed anything extra than what was already spent at the moment that you were banned.

It’s a pretty normal thing (sadly). They just want to confirm your account, it happens to a lot of people. You just have to do what they ask you to and you’ll be good to go.

If you are encountering an error then send them a ticket and they’ll fix it.

Happens all too often and it’s a slow process to get verified unfortunately. No cause for concern though!
