My ad agency set up this new google ad “universal local ads” and I’m trying to find out more about it

We have an ad agency we are working with that just set up this “universal local ad” and I’m trying to get more information on it. It’s a form of local service ad I think, but I’m new to all this and just looking for some resources that might be able to give me a better idea of what the ad type is, how it’s run and optimized. The agency isn’t being extremely helpful, they are kind of just selling it as a hot new google feature that’s great, so I’m trying to find out more. Thanks!

talk to your google rep. if your agency spends then just contact your rep and ask if its a beta and whether youre whitelisted for it.

[Here is info on Google local ads](https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/9118422?hl=en). They are designed to try and drive traffic to a location. Not sure why they wouldn’t send you that link.

They are relatively new. I personally haven’t set them up yet, but from what I’ve researched, you give Google a bunch of assets (text, images, video) and they create ads to run for you in different locations.

    Hope that helps.
