Moving into tCPA – recommended daily budget for this to be effective – cannot find documentation.

I’ve seen people recommend 2-3 times tCPA. Anyone have hard numbers or even anecdotal evidence to support this?

    Thanks

Edit: I found that Google does provide a recommendation:

“..you’ll want your **average daily budget at least 20-30%** **higher than your campaign average daily spend**. This allows for quicker learnings when using Target CPA or Target ROAS and more volume at a similar efficiency.”

This was in relation to campaign testing – [more reading here](https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6167145?hl=en&ref_topic=6167089).

10 to 15 times. If it’s an app campaign it should be 20 times. I think it’s mentioned somewhere in the Support pages.

I’ve never seen this documented anywhere but Google reps have often mentioned 2.5x tCPA for auto-bidding.

All that really means is you’re looking for 2.5x conversions per day or 76 conversions per month. And, that happens to be a pretty solid number for automated bidding to work well.

We are finding the current threshold to be around 20 conversions per month, any less and auto-bidding still tends to get outperformed by ECPC.
