    Hello all.
A misspelled highly relevant keyword has been found that shows a lot of searches and low competition. Would it be wise to use that keyword in your opinion?

No need to target Misspelled keywords even if they have millions of search volume with KD 0. These misspelled keywords are just typing errors and make no sense in the eyes of Google.

For example- Go and type fobres in google, you’ll see forbes website every single time, unless you own fobres.com. Even if you target “fobres” in your articles, google won’t consider it as it makes no sense in reality. In a nutshell, it’s a complete waste of time. It’s all about search intent.

There was a time when I had clients who wanted me to optimize for misspelled keywords. We had a spreadsheet of them. If finally got to the point where I had to say “are we sure we want to try to attract people who can’t spell ‘boat’ correctly?” As time went on and Google got better at what Google does, I tell any client who wants to optimize for misspellings that it is a waste of time.
