    Meta ad not converting.

I just started my first conversion campaign on Meta for my band’s single and it is not converting. The ad has spent $8, which should be enough to see at least a few conversions, right?

I am running a landing page view campaign with the exact same media (video), pretty much the exact same ad copy, and same landing page and it has gotten a $0.61 cost per landing page view over the last few days (not sure if that’s high or normal). Only difference is that I replaced the original URL on the landing page views campaign with a custom URL coming from our own domain in order to try to bypass the error message about iOS 14.5. In fact, I’m surprised the original campaign worked as well as it did considering I did not eliminate iOS users (although maybe the cost per landing page view should be lower).

I was surprised to find that the error message did not go away even after successfully verifying the domain on both the landing page service (ToneDen) and in Facebook Business Manager, and also testing the page view and conversion event (view content) in the Test Events tool (both events worked). Should that error message go away or does it need to collect more data to disappear?

Here is the link to the custom landing page URL: https://music.ursaandthemajorkey.com/alliwantisyourlove I know the only streaming service listed is Spotify, but I have narrowed the interests down to Spotify as well (utilizing Andrew Southworth’s method on YouTube).

Some other things possibly worth noting: My targeting is broader than the landing page view campaign. I am using all Spotify Tier 1 countries on the conversion campaign as opposed to 5 of them (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand) on the landing page view campaign. I have also added more interests on the conversion campaign, broadening the reach even further (5.3-6.2 mil on conversion vs. 3.8-4.4 mil reach on the landing page view). Placements are the same on both (just Insta Explore, Stories, Feed).

Lol nah dude. $8.00 is not enough to see conversions.

If you don’t have a budget in at least the $100 range per month (ideally more) then you’re not ready to be doing ads. Spend your money (and your time) doing something more productive.

What is the CTR and CPM for your campaigns?

Ppc is super brand dependent. If you are a smaller business compared to your competitors, you can easily spend 10x to get one conversion. Usually you dont even see results with ppc within the first $500-1000 if you are a smaller player in a large industry

Can you fire (or you firing) a conversion event for the video view? If so, can you run a campaign optimizing for that?
