  • Marketing Questions for: Fishing Guides, Marinas or Tackle Stores

Long story short, I am dabbling into the idea of starting a marketing agency. I’ve been looking into it for a few months and run my website / seo for my personal business so I have a basic understanding, definitely not a pro. Any-who the question is do you think the fishing industries listed in the title would have the funds for marketing services to begin with? Such as: do you think guides have an extra 3-600 a month for a website, or 1k+ for full send seo? Same for marinas and tackle stores. I really enjoy this niche because I understand it, but on the same note I do not want my adventure to end before I even start due to my target market straight up not having enough funds. I am still a good year or so from executing this ideas as I have SO SO SO much to learn still. My current ideas (still brain storming) is website and on page seo packages 3-600 ish per month. On and off page seo 1500-3000 or so. Is this in reach in this industry? With that would also be GBP management (local seo), review management etc.
What are yalls honest opinions about these niches or should I look elsewhere? TIA!

Things to consider: Area you’re targeting, number of competitors, average price of goods/services. Check out search volume for related keywords. A place like Alaska may be a good for fishing guides since I know people pay big coin to go out there and fish. But I highly doubt those guides have paid for SEO before so the high price point may seem outrageous to them. So it would be best to lead with some kind of value maybe free keyword analysis and show them how many more people a month you can get them in front of. Speak in terms of MONEY
