Hey guys. I recently started a business selling jeans online. I want to promote a lot via social media. My idea is to generate content for my page through micro influencers (I talking rally micro like 1-9k) as I don’t have the skill or access to people to do it on my own. I talking lifestyle photos, videos and anything else I could then use on my own channel + also maybe gain a bit of exposure if the influencer would decide to post it on their own channel.

Problem I have is that my page has 70 followers (friends and family) it does not really look legit because of that….

I was wondering if it makes sense to buy followers like 3-5k so that the profile looks more legit and the micro influencers are more likely to collaborate.

    Thoughts???

Absolutely do not buy followers. It will hurt your growth since they will most likely be spam/bot accounts. You want followers that will also engage with your content. Reels and carousels are doing really well on the IG algorithm.

Try to come up with a posting schedule 2x a week, 3x a week, etc. ideally you want to post anywhere from 5-7x a week to try to gain as much “attention”. Make your posts eye catchy and relatable to the buyer.

Use the right hashtags and keywords in your caption. Utilize stories and the stickers (questions, polls, quiz, etc). Make reels that follow trends.

No, do not buy followers, purchased followers accounts are most often banned, and on platforms like Instagram it is good to maintain good practices.

No, Don’t buy followers at any cost, If you want to grow your Instagram start creating reels content, It will take time to see growth on your profile but eventually it will make sense at the end of the day if you stuck to this plan, You can ask micro influencer to do collab, by offering them barter system where you can give one of the jeans to them and they will create reel content for you, That’s how you will generate a right audience to your brand.

What matters most is the quality of engagement you have with your audience. Instead, consider strategies that enhance your credibility, like collaborating with micro-influencers, hosting giveaways, and crafting compelling stories around your brand. Growth services like AscandViral can also provide organic strategies that won’t jeopardize your brand’s authenticity. What’s the story behind your brand and how do you plan to share it with your potential customers?
