Lost rankings on a keyword that I started using first
Hey, it’s a e-comm site and we am losing rankings on a keyword that we started using first (its became a very popular product lately in my country, so far its the only brand of the product). We losing against sites that sell a variety of this product among other products and they are ranking above me with just a product page.
Meanwhile we have a few strong backlinks, our whole site is devoted to that keyword and we even started writting articles about it.
A month ago we lost 1st place to 3rd and I started editing H1, H2, H3s and made edits to a few sentences here and there so I would rank better. We jumped up to 2nd and now I’m at 4th.
What can I do? None of these sites have strong backlinks to that particular product and one of them is basically a filtered catalog to their shop. And none of them have any blogs or articles.

What to do? You need to analyze your competitors listings to figure out what they are doing. Also, what industry are you in? Has there been a change with a google update that you need to be aware of? Was your site hit with a penalty? Plenty of things to consider
