    Lookalike Audiences and ios14

    Hello all,

    I have been running a campaign for about 4 weeks and gathered 100+ purchases to create a lookalike.

    My question is, should I make the purchase lookalike 1% (which is what I typically do) and optimize for purchase or should I do a LLA 1-5% or even LLA 1-10% due to smaller audience sizes from the update.

    I have a $50/day budget so unfortunately cannot test all 3 option simultaneously.

    Any input is appreciated!

    with such a small budget i think having 1% looklike would be good. You’ll show to users who are more likely to make a purchase on your ads, so there’s no point on wasting budget on less intent impressions.

    i would suggest you only do 1%looklike if it has at least 500,000 audience size though, if its less than this, try max 5%

    First, your seed audience is pretty small and may not lead to an efficient lookalike at this point. Ideally, you should have 1,000+ contacts.

    As for lookalike, the larger the lookalike the lower the performance generally… I am assuming you are not filtering the audience other ways. So always start with 1% unless your budget is extremely large. In the US for example, 1% is 2 million users. That’s enough typically for a budget as high as $1K/day.
