    Landing page feedback

Posted by Mbv-Dev on March 9, 2023 at 5:57 pm

    Hi all,

I’m currently in the process of trying to bootstrap my first project, and have been working on my landing page. I’m a developer by trade, which means I’m not the most experienced with writing copy that is clear and articulates what a product is.

Therefore, I would very much appreciate any feedback/criticism/rosts you can provide, so I can rough out the details, before starting to promote the page more heavily.

    The site is: [Townsquare Digest](https://townsquaredigest.com/)

Again, thank you for your time and any suggestions you might have.

Needs an example of what type of data is actually going to be there.

“We’re building the MVP” and “we use LLMs” are ‘hows’. You aren’t giving the ‘why’.

Who is your target customer for this? Businesses looking to hear discussions about their brand / category? Subreddit moderators looking to create an easier modding experience? Something else?

Put yourself in their shoes, then solve the problem in 1 sentence. That should be in the headline. Lets say it’s biz users looking for discussions about their brand/category.

“Immediate alerts when conversations about your brand or category are taking place online, so you can join the discussion and protect your brands reputation” or “Track the biggest issues and problems with your community this week, so you can resolve them faster and drive higher customer satisfaction”

Something like that is giving the ‘why’, and then you can go and talk features, the how, etc.

So I had a look at the page, first thing I can say is the text you have right away gets the point across clearly on what the page and business’ is about, I consider this a huge positive! One thing I think could help with the visual appeal of the page, given you are creating reports. IS there any example of reports you have done already whether it be charts or anything which can be used as almost a backdrop. In [this](https://tell.ie/jamielynngernertdesigns) designers page, she has a backdrop of a place she obviously designed and wants to show as a right away selling point for her design business, so similarly I am saying if your reports are easy to read and follow, would the instant visual be something that can help sell a potential customer right away to a degree before reading further into how it works
