Landing Page and Email Service After Canceling PPC Management Campaign

Posted by julioarhernandez on November 30, 2023 at 4:32 pm

I’ve got a question that’s been on my mind lately.
What happens to the landing page we host for our clients and the email service that sends contact information retrieved during conversions if a client decides to cancel their PPC management campaign?
I’m curious to know if there are common practices or experiences in the industry regarding this scenario. Do you typically maintain the landing page and email service for a certain period, or is there a standard procedure you follow?
Your insights and experiences are highly appreciated! 🚀

It’s going to vary depending on agency. For me, my clients own everything and therefore take it when they go.

What happens would be part of your off boarding of a client. Usually a client gives notice of 30 or 60 days, during that time the client figures out how to take on the work and or move work to a new partner.

The client should own everything they have been paying for this whole time. Landing pages should be built in the client’s account or one their own in their name. Makes moves like this easier.

I forgot to mention I host the landing page and email service. I don’t mind sharing the landing page files with the client, but the email subscription is under my account and covered by me.
