    Keyword Returns on Investment (ROI)

Posted by seohelper on April 9, 2021 at 5:51 am

Hello sellers, agencies and virtual assistants.

I have been working on finding a way to calculate keyword ROI before starting/selecting any product for private label.
    Goals:
To know before hand how much possibly have to spend on the keyword and it has potential to return this particular number.
I know its guess game before hand but knowing 50 to 70% is better than playing blindly.

    What need from you is
Which numbers to consider in calculations.
If any of you done this before your help will be appreciated.
    Happy learning.
    Thanks

I’m afraid I don’t think you’re going to find what you’re looking for. There are just too many confounding factors which will impact this; bidding model, ad quality, landing page experience, product price, quality of competition, page speed, checkout process, social proof, changing interest/search volumes etc etc

Keywords don’t have a built in conversion rate, so you can’t calculate ROI. If you could, my job would be a lot easier!!

Solid keyword research should give you an idea of how much that keywords could cost, search volume, and where about on their purchase journey a user might be if they search for that term. You can then compare this to your potential profit per sale and make an educated guess as to whether it has the potential to work – i.e. should I test this keyword.
