    Hey y’all,

I’m a part of a press/PR team for a minor league hockey team and we’re having issues removing former members of our team from our Facebook page. Every time I try to revoke their admin rights, I get a message saying: *”Sorry, something went wrong. We’re looking into it.”*

I tried googling around but it seems that no one has yet figured out how to fix this and the Facebook team hasn’t said anything about it on their forums. It’s honestly annoying, I’ve been trying for like a week at this point and I’m at loss at this point. It seems like the only thing I can do is to set their roles to “analyst” and that’s it.

Anyone know what to do in this situation?

I’ve had the same issue 2 years ago in my current role, still no solution, after a year I managed to get in touch with someone at FB support but they wanted heaps of paperwork and evidence from HR to remove these people on their end. Best way to do it is as you said, reduce them to analyst or try and contact these people and ask they kindly quit the page. So frustrating though!

I ran into this before and it was bc the person in question was the one who created the brand page to begin with, so I demoted their admin role
