  Is using a link tracking and geo targeting company bad for SEO?

  We are using a third-party link tracking service to geo-target a lot of our affiliate links and to track clicks to other links to non affiliate places.

  Does this ever hurt SEO if a large chunk of our outgoing links are to like…

  * thirdpartycompany .com/affiliate2
  * thirdpartycompany .com/nonaffiliatewewanttotrackclicks1
  * thirdpartycompany .com/nonaffiliatewewanttotrackclicks2

  We got pretty trashed with the last few updates and I’m wondering if maybe this looks like spam in some way, shape, or form even though it’s not intended to be?

  We’re using geniuslink to handle this, in case that makes a difference.
