  is there SEO value in 2 links pointing to 2 different pages on the same website?

  If an article contains 2 links pointing to 2 ***different*** pages on the ***same*** website, does Google value both of these links equally in terms of boosting SEO for the site? or is there sort of some huge dropoff in link value?

  Yes, there is value lol. There are theories that links higher up in the content are more valuable but only by a minimal negligible amount, so don’t overthink it. Just add internal links where it makes sense.

  2 links coming from the same external website are considered as (1) backlink to your domain.
