    Someone told me that on social media, videos that appear to have “commercial” quality, do worse because the viewer sees it as an ad, therefore skipping your content?

    UGC is very popular right now. It’s an effective strategy for brands to fake an influencer look.

    It’s really just a reminder that folks don’t want to be sold to. If you come off too salesy, they’ll avoid your ad. That doesn’t make polish the enemy — just lazy content.

    I think people in general skip polished content. They want what’s real, not some made up BS.

    Personally, ad can indeed influence viewer engagement. Focus on storytelling and providing value to your audience. Regardless of the production quality, if your content resonates with viewers, addresses their needs, and provides entertainment or valuable information, they are more likely to engage with it.
