  • Is there any such thing as too much posting on Instagram? (Algorithm-wise)

Hi, i will be launching my business Instagram page (a creator account), and I wanted to know that I posted 1 reel, 1 post and a few stories a day, would that make Instagram limit my reach or think I’m a bot or something?

There isn’t a hard limit on posting for the algorithm itself. However, posting too much can hurt your reach. People might find it annoying and disengage. Focus on quality and consistency over quantity.

I’ve found that a mix of quality content and engaging captions can help maintain a good algorithm standing, regardless of post frequency.

In my experience, posting a lot every day can actually help you increase your reach. This is especially true for new accounts when algorithms are pushing your content. However, you don’t know which post might go viral, so the more you post, the higher your chance of being included in the general recommendations. So even 5 Reels daily will be acceptable. But over time, of course, you need to focus on quality rather than quantity of content.
