Is it possible to target specific browsers on microsoft ads?

Posted by seohelper on December 9, 2020 at 5:56 pm

I’m running some audience ads on microsoft that are about a breakeven but IE traffic is eating up 30-35% of the budget with only 5-10% of conversions. Looked through docs and asked their support and it seems like there isn’t a way to do this but wanted to ask here in case there is possibly some trick I’m unaware of to be able to block IE?

To my knowledge no, I think the closest thing would be to add website exclusions.

You may not be able to, but what you can do is look at your demographics that are eating up a large portion of your budget and reduce your bid percentage by the percent that demographic converts.

My “unofficial” thinking is, older people and government workers use IE, and if they’re your lowest converting demographic, then reduce your bid amounts on that demographic to indirectly filter out your IE traffic.
