Is it adviced to split test with and without Target Roas?
I recently got a new ecom client who’s account was set up and run by another marketeer. There is a pmax, shopping and some search campaigns. However the shopping has a tRoas of 150% and is not running profitably (most months at least, average roas around 70-100%). I would personally not have switched to tRoas with the inconsistent sales. So I was thinking about split testing the campaign, one without and one with tRoas. Also for the client to be more comfortable since it is getting conversions and some months it is profitable. What do you guys think?

If it’s not doing well on a consistent monthly basis… I would look at going to manual CPC or lowering the budget if it’s spending to much to be profitable.
