Is anyone else noticing a fall in leads?
We are an animated video production company that gets around 15 leads every week from Organic search and YouTube but this week we are down to zero leads.
Anyone else noticing something similar? What could be the reason?

have you changed anything on your registration process?
what about your traffic? is it about the same, or have you noticed a drop as well?

You could have been hit by recent updates. It’s fairly easy to check and see what’s going on and if that was it or it could be market conditions. The only way to know is to do a deep dive on your traffic and rankings and determine what it could have been.

I’ve noticed that rankings for the most valuable keywords have dropped, while brand based search terms have increased. Thus leads have fallen..
The once valuable keywords have been lost to “great content marketing” articles for big brands, sites that advertise a lot, and sites with limited functionality that load extremely fast.

I work with lots of local companies. A lot of them are getting slow right now. Even with web and GMB rank increases over the past several months the lead flow is significantly less than last year at this time.
A few are just clicking along like normal, but you’re right, there’s been a noticeable drop lately
