  Impact of changing subfolder names on ranking?

  On our website we currently use a /blog subfolder for article and blog content. We are hoping to rebrand the blog to be more of a resource center and are thinking of changing it to a /hub subfolder to better reflect this change.

  Does anyone have any resources on changing URLs and how this impacts SEO? I couldn’t find anything clear or from a source that I deemed reputable. Thanks!

  Unless /hub is relevant to the content, the best you can hope for is that you retain your current rankings.
