Forum › White Hat SEO › PPC › If I Import Conversions From Google Analytics to Google Ads, Do I Still Need to Install A Conversion Tracking Tag?
I have conversions imported from Google Analytics to my Google Ads account. I’ve also associated the Ads Campaign with that conversion.
Because I’ve imported the conversion from Analytics to Ads, is that sufficient for tracking conversions, or do I still need to also add the Conversion Tracking Tag?
You don’t need to install the conversion tag.
No, but keep in mind the Google ads conversion tag will usually attribute more revenue/conversions based on first touch last touch, view through and assisted conversions. In reality that can be the difference between 2 and 3x ROAS.
