I’m curious if anyone else thinks this could work (not intended to be promo, but discussion) The app is a startup called Kindli, aimed to promote positivity and Kindness. The app is a home for the “pay-it-forward” movement with these things we call Kindli Cards that let you anonymously thank someone for their random act of kindness. I think the app has potential to be really cool if enough people found out about it. No hate, no racism, no bullying, and yes, no politics. Do you think this could work? AMA.

A lot of people subconsciously crave that schadenfreude. I have come to terms with that.

I would love something like that. Can you explain a little more how it works?

People crave anger, that’s how all the other social media expand and keep you on the platform. That’s why everyone hates the feel good news and say “must be a slow news day” then changes the channel when the local news does a feel good story. How do you keep people on the platform, and drive interaction, other than the guilt of we’ll I’ve paid to be here, without that push from the anger and the occasional urge for eye bleach?

It can work. It’s an interesting concept. Are you guys hiring for social growth? Your Twitter account for it could easily grow by sharing positive videos / quotes
