GuestMay 3, 2023 at 3:40 amYes it’s possible. It depends on the competition and their current state of SEO.

GuestMay 3, 2023 at 3:47 amGenerally you will find that this is much easier than you would expect. I’ve been dominating the space with a number of businesses for years in capital cities in Australia. I’ve found that Australia has quite a competitive landscape for trades business when comparing with other countries.
Long story short, yes very possible, and very easy once you wrap your head around a strategy to get it done.
This isn’t a pitch but message me if you want some tips or anything or even send me your website and I’ll take a look for you.

GuestMay 3, 2023 at 4:57 amYou don’t mention it, but make sure you’re working on optimizing and efforting on your Google business profile as well. You’ll get better bang for the buck in ranking that vs a website in that niche in my experience.

GuestMay 3, 2023 at 9:09 amYes it’s possible but go after the less competitive keywords and build up to the bigger ones. Local seo is fun but you’re going to be going up against gbp name spam and ctr manipulation.

Seriously.
Some easy stuff like changibng a faucet or such.
A lot of people will realize how much work it is and let you do it, or they will contact you for more complex work, as you have shown yourself to be helpful and trustworthy.
A bit of youtube exposure along the way doesn’t go amiss.

GuestMay 3, 2023 at 1:32 pmYou can check your competitors SEO result first. And then do SEO using some long tail keywords first.

GuestMay 3, 2023 at 2:54 pmHonestly yes, it’s one of the most competitive niches for SEO. I think unless you have an in house employee helping that you can manage inputs/motivate to stay consistent you may be better investing elsewhere. Personal opinion based on the many plumbing sites I have seen. Note: bigger metropolitan areas only, not sure of smaller towns

GuestMay 3, 2023 at 3:25 pmNo advice here, but good luck. Locksmiths and plumbers are some of the most competitive local service niches.

GuestMay 3, 2023 at 3:28 pmDefinitely target what’s known as local SEO. But I’m one to always recommend pay per click if it’s well setup. That last bit is important. For a Plummer you should have a margin and you will get results faster while the SEO takes time. And often PPC out performs it.

GuestMay 3, 2023 at 3:58 pmDo focus on the low tail / user intent keywords intially and rank for it. Slowly, shift towards the top keywords by content marketing. Quality >>>>> Quantity of traffic. Hope it helps.
