    Hundreds of products search campaign

    Hey,

So I have a website with a product cattegory that is targetted for brand name affiliated keywords that are more generic like "bmw bikes", "bmw cars" etc. But I also have hundreds of products under that product cattegory that I need to target according to the specific product name being searched like "bmw 550i", "bmw m3" etc.

My question is. How do I go about targetting each product? What is the correct way of doing it? I created a DSA targetting all of the products, but for some reason out the hundreds of products only one product is getting impressions and clicks. The other products show eligible or eligible low search volume. I would love to have a DSA with the products, but maybe it's the fact that there's only a few searches of each product each month that stops the DSA from working. I'm not sure. So I was thinking of adding the search terms as exact match keywords, but then I find that it's only recommended to have up to 30 keywords in each ad group.

    What do?

Build a keyword list for all your products or take a list for all your branded product names and put it in the keyword planner within Google Ads. It will tell you an estimate of the monthly search volume. Those keywords may actually just not have the search volume to drive traffic. If thats the case then you may want to consider a nonbrand keyword strategy.

Second thing you should do is check if the DSA’s are targeting a url, a category, or a page feed.

Last check your bid strategy, if you are using a conversion, ROAS, or cpa focused bid strategy, then the reason your other terms may not be seeing traffic is that Google has deemed them not valuable enough to hit your conversion/ROAS/cpa goals.
