Optimise on page – metadata, product coverage (look for intent), optimise your high intent/transactional queries to convert more.

Fix site structure which is crucial for e-com – broken links, internal links… check for pages that are orphaned, click depth (try to reduce it so users can access products easier), duplicated content to be canonicalised (features like facted nav can cause this)

etc etc, there is a plethora of stuff to do with e-com pages but make data driven decisions and utilise GSC/GA/Sheets to filter out pages and work more hyper-focused.

Do you have multiple categories of products on the website?

If yes, then you can target category pages first. Choose a little longtail targeted keyword and optimize that page.

You will see hundreds of keywords ranked with the main targeted keyword.

So first, make a structure of product categories.

Do you have multiple category pages or a single category on website?

I think it all starts with Product research. If you did it before the production you might not have such a question (in case its you as owner)
The SEO will remains the same with few additions like listing products on Google merchandise or other product listing websites to get noticed. I help miracle noodles improve their sales by 1000% in 2 years. where 40% of the sales is coming from 3rd part product listing websites including Amazon and 60% sales are coming from their own website. Work on brand strategy, conduct few physical product displays in local region, redirecting people to your website. Paid ads can also play a vital role.
