  • How to rank for keywords with different meanings?

Posted by seohelper on April 15, 2021 at 3:51 pm

We’re trying to rank for keywords like “customer bracket” which could be a hardware or a bracket generator for tournaments or “purus” which could be a hardware manufacturer or a river in the Amazon rainforest.

How do you optimize your content for keywords like these?

At this point Google is smart enough to understand what you’re talking about. I think if you do a quick search you will find that your competition is other hardware manufacturers. I would start by looking at the top 10 pages and try to observe patterns there and see how we can create a page that’s better than all of them combined.

By conveying the intentional meaning through content. By going through the content, Google algorithms get an idea about the topic and accordingly associate the content with keywords.

Context would have a lot to do with this, but you could also try adding varied keywords with the same meaning. Use a tool like keywords everywhere (free API download) and it will give you a list of alternate search queries people are using to find these products. Not sure if I’ve answered what it is you’re asking but hope this is helpful.
