How to know when to expand FB ads budget?

Posted by seohelper on June 3, 2021 at 7:34 pm

Hey all, I was here a few days ago asking about my new campaign. For anyone who didn’t see, I’m running a niche clothing site ( think kawaii or goth clothes ). I’ve been FB ad testing (5 adsets, 5 interests, €5 each). In the first two days I got one sale, and four reached checkout. However, many people here said my budget was too low to see results. I have no issue expanding the budget but I don’t know if I should? For example, I don’t want to spend €1000 on ads to get zero sales and find out my website is a dud or my products are too expensive etc. How do I know that I’m not getting sales due to a lack of data rather than my products being unappealing /not highly in demand to customers?

Is the result you have what you expect? Are those KPIs good? If so, increase your budget to something you’re comfortable with and keep analyzing your data.

Results aren’t what you’re looking for yet? If you’ve only been running the ads for 2 days, keep the ads going since you don’t have concrete evidence as to what’s going on yet.

Overall though, I think you’d need to increase your budget either way to get a better sample size to make more informed decisions.

Also, it’s hard for anyone to give good advice without knowing the bigger picture, like clicks and more.
