I’m a video creator and for the last few years I’ve slowly been growing my brand “Giant Rock” in the rock climbing niche. I’ve basically just been doing this on the side for fun and have no real clue what I’m doing. Recently I’ve been thinking about taking it more seriously but I don’t really know where to start or tbh if it’s even worth it. Clearly I need some sort of scheduling plan and I’d like to branch out to other platforms.

I have a massive library of original photo and video assets and I’m hoping to get some advice on how to squeeze the most out of it. My basic strategy now is that I make long form Youtube videos and then from those I make short form Reels and TikTok’s. Does anyone have recommendations on where else I should share my content?

I’m also interested to hear your thoughts on the potential value (if there even is any) of my brand. I have 9k subs on YT, 8k on IG and 20k on TT. Is it realistic to think this could become a source of actual revenue? Totally fine if not as I do it because it’s my passion, just trying to get some perspective. Thank you for your time.

As an Instagram expert by myself, I’ll say Instagram is great, yet you can try on Tiktok as well. For YouTube, you need to make longer and raw videos for it. Which will certainly take time, and you need to give something good for the audience each time. And let’s be honest, growing up on YouTube isn’t a child’s play. You can still figure out Instagram or Tiktok, but with youtube, it takes a lot of effort to do it.

Talking about Instagram or Tiktok, so yeah short videos will work but it also depends upon how you gonna make it. If all you gonna do is hopping from here to there and gonna do rock climbing, it will make people bored in long run. We already saw bear grills a long time ago haha. You need to add variety to your content.

You can make it adventurous plus helpful for the people. It can be what you should keep while doing tracking or rock climbing, where should you go, what time you should start it, etc. There’s so much you can do with this.

I had worked with some adventures and if you are interested, I would love to talk more with you about this. Hit me DM if you are interested.

How about starting up your podcast and telling stories behind all those pictures and videos?
