How to get free backlinks in 4 steps
I get 20 link requests per week and yet no-one seems to understand how to build relationships to get a link. Here are 3 steps to get a link for free by building a relationship!
Step 1: Email the editor with a question about an article they’ve released in the last 30 days. Be interested in them and their website.
Step 2: Hopefully they’ll reply with a thanks and more details. Next reply to them and ask what articles are coming up.
Step 3: Offer to write one of these articles for free and add your link to it.
Simple!

This sort of thing actually pisses me off more than the normal spammers. I get people contacting me all the time through email, Facebook, and LinkedIn doing stuff like this.
It pisses me off more that they pretend like they have a genuine interest and as soon as they give me this bullshit pitch they are blocked permanently.
