  • How often do you come across social media posts that you feel are not inclusive?

    >\[Almost always / Frequently / Occasionally / Rarely / Never\]

I’m trying to understand the frequency at which **individuals come across social media posts (short form content) on Twitter/LinkedIn/Reddit/Quora/.. that they feel are not inclusive**. As a community, I believe in promoting inclusivity and would like to understand the extent to which this is being achieved aka perspective.

Please share your thoughts and experiences. Any comments and suggestions are also welcome.

It depends. Are you looking at disability inclusivity, social inclusivity or racial inclusivity?

Frequently if you are looking at audio inclusivity and a lack of subtitles etc, or visual impairments and a lack of information for screen readers.

Inclusive of what? That’s very broad.

    1) inclusive of what?
    2) what community are you speaking on behalf? “As a community, I believe…”

I tend to think that trying to be “inclusive” when it’s not adding anything to the discussion at hand is silly and pushes people towards the right. If I’m watching an anime and someone says, “Hey, that anime doesn’t have any trans characters, or POC, or quadruple amputee Jewish deacons!” I’ll tell you to GTFO. My anime is my anime, let me watch it in peace. I am a left-leaning individual but often think the left is its own worst enemy.

Pretty often, I’d say, but the answer would vary depending on what we’re talking about.
