  • How much does managing social media and creating content cost?

I own a smoke store in Houston, and I’m wondering how much it would cost for someone to take over everything. Although we have accounts on Facebook and Instagram, we rarely use them. How much should someone be paid to produce the material and consistently share it across all platforms?

In order to expand my account and create content, I presently pay the guys at Ascend Viral $199 each month. Prices vary depending on the quality of the service and the region where you hire them. For the caliber of their work, it seems like a fair price.

Hey there, social media strategist here, I am a freelancer, and the costs varies. You have 2 options here, you can contact an agency that will charge you really cheap, they will send the work to some overworked contractor in the third. Most of them just copy and paste from their other clients, if you’re looking to be competitive online, this might not be the best option. If you have the money you can pay for something a little better, have a better strategy, and content overall. I’d say anywhere between $800-3,000 might be an accurate range depending on how many platforms you’re looking to post on.

Hope this gave you some clarification, cheers!

Ok, so about the pricing, 900-4000$ for managing your account? Depending upon the work and how many platforms you want. Plus, how much work they are doing in it.

As we go more deeply into it, you just don’t the cheaper one as in the end, you want results. And the smoke store is a bit different. It should be a bit creative along with taking an eye on the content. I think you know it is easy to be taken down, so you need the person should not be just working on the content, but they should know how to and what they are posting.

I think rather than Facebook, Tiktok can be a better option. But it all depends upon what kind of videos are you gonna post.

But if the budget is a bit limited, I suggest going with Instagram as you can use photos and videos both on it. And later expand it on Tiktok too.

If you are still looking for someone to do it, I can help too. I have some experience with the smoke content too. If you are interested, feel free to DM

Find someone in house. Hire a social media assistant. Promote them up.

It would really depend on the scope of work. Do you expect this person to create content from scratch, and for that content to be original and creative? Or do you just want this person to create some graphics on canva using graphics you give them? Will they be doing moderation, social listening, reporting, strategy, etc as well? Paid and organic? Expanding to new platforms, and building those out from scratch as well? And your expectations matter too. If you expect a social media guru who is innovative and strategic, then it would be expensive vs someone who can just copy paste and scheduling things for you on different platforms

Depending on the size of your company, marketing budget, and other factors, the cost of managing social media and creating content can vary widely. Generally speaking, if you’re looking to outsource your social media management and content creation, you can expect to pay anywhere from $500-$1,000/month. However, if you have someone on staff who is already responsible for creating content (blog posts, website updates, etc.), then the only added cost for managing social media would be time – which could range from a few hours a week to a few hours a day.

Depends on experience and you main goal, if it’s to maintain online presence not much but if you are looking to grow each platform then it will be a case of writing up a strategy setting KPIs to suite. Working out a content structure, research weekly into competitors outreach etc etc then your looking at in gbp £35k -£75k a year depending on experience

I’d say it depends on your goals. If you just want someone to post content and grow the number of followers it could be done for cheaper than someone that makes a full-blown strategy to get more sales.

I’d say the price range goes from $500 up to $5k.
