  • How much do you charge for guest posts?

Posted by seohelper on July 27, 2021 at 4:07 am

Hey, this is the first time I’ve been able to scale a site to 18k visits a month and it’s a news site so I’ve been getting guest posts requests like crazy now.

The DR is pretty decent – 39 and I haven’t sold any guest post on this site so far.

What should I charge people for a site with this stats?

It isn’t just about stat sites its about value. If someone puts a guest post up, do you envision them getting any traffic that converts or its just for a link.

Based on a total lack of actual info , as DR doesn’t tell a whole story, I would be thinking $25-50 ballpark? But there are too many variables.

Why don’t you ask the people contacting you what their budget is then go from there as they are the ones who know what they value your links at. Then if you like it take it, if not ask for more and they will go away … or beg for discounts…

For a small news site I can’t see more than 30-40$ unless it’s a news site within a specific industry.

Can I see your site please? Might be I add it to my link building offerings. I’ve done this for years so I can also advise you on what sites like yours usually charge.

Anyway, congrats on scaling to 18k. That isn’t as easy as it used to be.

    30 to 50 USD normal.

Double the price for cbd, adult, gambling if you allow that.

Don’t go less than 30 tho per post.

The higher you charge the more likely you are to get solid content and it keeps spammers and riff-raff with spun text and duplicate content from wrecking your site.

Set up some guidelines to help avoid getting shitty content from link shills and then buy a Benz.

My website drive 3k+ visit a month and I charge between 30 usd to 100 usd based on the quality and other SEO factors.

Guest post is a great way to help businesses but we have to be conscious at the same time.

It is a value add that one offers and I reject 90% of the guest posts request I receive because of the quality and other expectations.

My blog content is about Digital Marketing, SEO, Saas, IOT etc.

You can check digippl dot com and interested businesses can get in touch.

    Thanks

$10/ is an affordable price for the users.

I have a Google News approved website and inwoek for domainrecer and medi4.. Many other brand as well, 78 keys rank/showing on Serp I charge $5 for letsaskme.com

Note – I would suggest that make sure the price would be affordable for the users that any1 can post their blog.

It depends on the niche of the news site.

Is it financial news we are talking about or news across the board?

If we’re talking about websites, normally try to get links from your niche.

How many links do people get for each guest post?

How much freedom do you give the contributor when it comes to publishing their guest posts?

Do they call the shots when it comes to the topics and the pages they’re linking to?

Are you tight when it comes to editorial quality?

These are the kinds of questions that would determine how much people would want to pay and how much you should charge.
