Hey everybody, I was looking/hoping for a little input. I’ve linked up with a business in my industry to create instructional videos/podcasts for their education website. Struck a deal for 2% of gross income from subscriptions but I have no idea what to say about how much content creation that would involve. Anyone have any thoughts/experience?

Too many unknown variables to give you a good answer. Look at their competitors, see what that volume is, or look at a similar series to get a feel.

Plus, if your compensation is based in part on subscriptions, you not only have to make excellent content, but you better hope they have an excellent strategist running their channels.

You have to discover the balance yourself. Post different content types and frequency, but you can count on video performing 2x better than static content. There is such thing as excessive posting frequency. A lot of social media agencies/”experts” feel that posting every day, or multiple times a day is best practices. It may be for particular industry, or business, but it can also be detrimental to maintaining a healthy following. Just like excessive marketing emails, your facebook posts filling up a users newsfeed can be perceived as spammy.
