How much are people paying for backlinks?
Let’s ignore the ethics/effectiveness for a moment…How much are people paying for backlinks? And how does the price relate to Domain Authority and other metrics?
I own a business news site, and am being pinged with messages by SEO companies asking to buy links. No idea what I should be charging (new to this) so am curious as to what people are doing.

I routinely pay $200-800/link. Sometimes more. Outside of relevancey, I primarily look at a site’s traffic and keyword rankings primarily. Since links are the #1 ranking factor, you can tell a lot about a site’s overall link profile by what keywords it is ranking for and how highly it is ranking.
