How does TikTok by pass music copyright issues?
Sorry in advance due to my limited knowledge on this topic but I can’t help with my curiosity on this matter. I’ve done some google on this. A lot people stated that it doesn’t, and most of the time video made with music that had issues with copyright were taken down.
However, it still cross my mind that what happens to those smaller or indie artists? Most of the time they will just ripped off their credit by these tiktokers since they can’t afford to file a lawsuit or complain properly?

The company behind TikTok bought the rights to use a lot of songs in TikTok, so no one is getting screwed over.
