How do you use hotjar without getting rejected?
Hi, I’ve tried to use hotjar to measure / learn landing page performance. It’s very helpful to see how users are navigating the page. BUT, if I’m driving traffic to my page via Google ads (for instance), at this point it only takes a day or 2 before Google rejects my campaign for “malware”.
Is this happening to others? How do you get around it? Or do I just need to stop using hotjar :\\

Use MS Clarity. Its free and does a more than decent job.
Hotjar was good some years ago, but its gotten worse, as far as i can tell. I barely use it nowadays.

For an additional data point, my company has seen no issues with ad rejections and we use the hotjar feedback widget and exit surveys on landing pages.

You could try Browsee. It is a half-decent option with better features and much cheaper pricing.

Use Microsoft Clarity – Totally free and does the exact same thing

Running hotjar and Google ads on 15+ accounts non of which have ever encountered this issue. What makes you think it’s directly related to Hotjar?

This has happened to me before. Submit a request for review to Google Ad and it should fix the issue.
