How do I move people down a funnel?

Posted by seohelper on August 8, 2020 at 2:01 am

    Honest potentially noob question.

I have two campaigns right now TOF and MOF.

At TOF, I will have a new prospective audience of women who are clicking and going to my landing page after seeing engaging content. The MOF are people that I’ve found via link retargeting and individuals who have already engaged with my Facebook page at least once.

Now, if I have some leads from TOF (campaign 1, ad set 1) and I want to move them down to MOF (campaign 2, ad set 1)…how do I do that? how do I remove them from one funnel and move them to the next funnel? how do I efficiently keep track of this, as well?!

This is really a marketing question and not limited to just PPC.

You can do this with email follow ups/nurture campaigns (they download a free white paper, you send them a series of emails, each one designed to get them further down funnel)

For what you’re asking, though, I’m assuming you mean moving people through your funnel with fb campaigns?

You’d just retarget them with different ads based on their actions…

Tofu – short informative video, blog post, etc.

If They visit your site and go beyond a blog post, visiting your pricing page, or if you’re eCommerce they visit specific products, then you target them with conversion ads – testimonial videos, special offers, discount codes, etc.

It’s easy and cheap to get a shit ton of people to read a blog post or watch a short video.

The “serious” ones worth retargeting will
Identify themselves by visiting certain pages

You do exactly what you said, remove them from one funnel and move them into the next. You could create a new audience list specifically for these people – ie, Visitors who entered site through TOF and completed lead form.

I think that is the only way you would be able to keep track of the performance specifically for that group of users.
