Didn’t have any other way of answering this. ????

As an SEO expert with 13+ years in this field, my clients typically find me and learn about my services through various channels. Here are a few common ways:

    1. Portfolio: Having a strong portfolio showcasing my previous successful projects and the results achieved helps potential clients understand my expertise and capabilities in the field of SEO.

    2. Testimonials: Positive testimonials and reviews from satisfied clients play a crucial role in building trust and credibility. When my clients share their positive experiences and outcomes, it resonates with prospective clients and gives them confidence in choosing my services.

    3. Expertise: Demonstrating my expertise through thought leadership content, such as blog articles, whitepapers, or social media posts, helps clients recognize my knowledge and industry insights. By providing valuable information and addressing common SEO challenges, I establish myself as a reliable authority in the field.

    4. Consultation: Engaging in a one-on-one conversation with potential clients through a consultation call allows me to understand their specific needs and explain how my services can benefit their business. This personalized approach helps them grasp the value I can bring and builds a rapport.

By combining these strategies, I ensure that my clients have multiple touchpoints to discover me and understand the value I offer as an SEO expert. ????

Most of us have badges we wear. Joking you have to do your research. Look at their linkedin profile, talk to past clients. (Not always reliable because they’re not going to give you previous clients that weren’t happy) Google their name. As for a resume. Talk to other people in the industry to see if they’ve heard of them. My suggestion to you is only do a minimum 3-month agreement with them to do the work. If they are not showing you any measurable results in 3 months then it’s time to move on. Make sure they provide you with a detailed report of what they’ve done each month and make sure that they are not just getting a paycheck. Hold them accountable. Make sure they give you reports on any performance increases that can directly tie back to the work they’ve done.

It’s just amazing how much bad advice there is out there more than there is good it seems like. No wonder this poor guy doesn’t know how to find a good SEO.

Research about them based on the information they provided. Information like name, personal website, freelancing history, previous client website ranking, their social profiles etc… this way you would have a better understanding about that person.

Someone who’s business does not dwell on page 3 or 4 of google would be a fair indicator.
