How do agencies manage Facebook campaigns in bulk

Posted by seohelper on March 5, 2020 at 5:24 am

Google ads has google ads editor, scripts and 3rd party tools like Marin to automate management and optimization of the campaigns in bulk.

How does it work for Facebook campaigns? We could create some automated rules but is that the max we can do in terms of automation?

Lots of campaign managers and then account managers on the local side to traffic various creatives and raws with strategists, sales and the clients.

There’s some automation but mostly it’s about pacing, optimization, turning on and off ad sets and events.

We also have it tiered out by spend so complexity increases 3000 to 6000 to 10K/month just on FB/IG which yields more complexity and strategic tactics like dynamic retargeting or offline attribution/store visits.

You also get more on the client services side, more strategic account managers and full time strategists for custom reporting.

There are a few PMD’s (Preferred Marketing Developers) or FMP’s as they are called now (Facebook Marketing Partners) that still operate with FB by building on top to automate/simplify certain things. For example [Smartly.io](https://Smartly.io), Nanigans & 4C Insights. I know some big agencies have contracts with those to automate setup/optimisation & they all have their own pros/cons.

But if you are more technical, you can just build on the API yourself. FB has one of the oldest/strongest API’s out there, so can be utilised in the same way the FMP’s have used them.
